I’m a Londoner, born and bred. Up until a couple of years ago I saw that as an integral part of my identity and I thought there was nowhere else I’d rather live. Then, in December 2009, I met my perfect man, who promptly upped and left for Montreal, Canada, where he had work. Being rather in love with him, I followed, and since April 2011 I’ve lived there. Despite my uselessness with French I love it and I now consider it a second home. I only rarely find myself missing London these days, it’s a big old world, and I feel very lucky to have met someone that allows me to appreciate that.

My now husband (we married in Vegas earlier this year) was recently offered a job in New York City, so now here we are, soaking up the heat and excellent brunches. I’ve set up this blog as a little record of my adventures around the city. I won’t be working, so my job is visiting every nook and cranny NYC has to offer, musing about my finds and attempting to improve my photography skills. I hope you stick around to join in the fun!
